Sites We Have Built for Real Businesses

Every site here is live, for a business that exists, and you can click through the whole thing. Judge the work, not the pitch.

The 10-4 Handyman Services homepage.

Handyman & Light Remodeling · Madison, Wisconsin

10-4 Handyman Services

A family handyman crew whose old site had four blank pages and a quote form with no fields. Rebuilt around one job: get a Madison homeowner to call or send a quote.

  • 8 service categories
  • Real job photos
  • Quote form with photo upload
The SS Detail homepage.

Mobile Auto Detailing · Ventura & LA County, California

SS Detail

A mobile detailing crew with a strong look sitting on a site that could not carry it. We kept the design, rebuilt everything under it, added what was missing, and launched it on their own domain.

  • 4 packages, priced up front
  • 15 photos of their own work
  • Call or text from every screen

More on the way. Every client gets a working demo before they pay anything, so the next one could be yours.

Insanely professional and made me an amazing site with great speed when I needed it. The product is great, the customer service is even better, and these boys do all the little things right.

Great work by MRD Studios Gabriel and Henry modeled my companies website to look and work exactly the way I wanted it to. Everything custom made and crafted to my expectations. Thanks you guys!

Our Process

From First Conversation to Launch

Five steps. You always know which one we're on and when you're needed.

  1. 01

    Discovery

A free call about your business, your customers, and what the website needs to do. We ask questions in plain English.

Your partTell us how your business works. There's nothing to prepare.

  2. 02

    Design

We turn the conversation into a design direction: layout, colors, and the copy that sells your work.

Your partTell us what you like and what you don't. Your feedback shapes the direction before we build.

  3. 03

    Build

We build the real site, fast and mobile-first, and share a private preview link as it takes shape.

Your partAlmost nothing. Watch progress from the preview link if you like.

  4. 04

    Review & Revisions

You click through the whole site on your phone and computer. We refine it through the revision rounds we agreed on up front.

Your partTell us anything that feels off. That's what the rounds are for.

  5. 05

    Launch & Support

We handle the domain, hosting, and go-live, then stay available for updates and changes after launch.

Your partAnnounce it. We take care of the rest.

The Details That Make It Easy

Who runs the project

One of us runs your project from start to finish. You deal with the same person at every step.

How feedback works

You open a real preview link and tell us what you think, by message or a quick call. "The header feels cramped" is all the design vocabulary you need.

What you supply

Your logo if you have one, photos of your work, and your business details: services, prices, hours. We set up all the content from there.

After launch

We handle hosting, small updates, and fixes through a support arrangement we agree on before the project starts.

What's Included

What You Get, In Writing

Every project includes the pieces below. Before we start, we write down the exact scope: pages, features, and support.

Mobile-First Design

A custom design built for phones first, since that's where most of your customers will find you, then scaled up to desktop.

Inquiry & Quote Forms

A clear path for customers to take the next step: contact forms, quote requests, or a booking path, whichever fits your business.

Content Setup

You give us your services, prices, photos, and details. We write the structure, place the content, and make it read well.

Search-Engine Basics

Proper page titles, descriptions, and fast load times, plus guidance on setting up your Google Business Profile.

Agreed Revision Rounds

We agree on the number of revision rounds before we start, so refinements don't turn into surprise costs.

Launch & Ongoing Support

We handle the domain, hosting, and go-live. After launch, updates run through a support arrangement we agree together.

The People You'll Work With

MRD is short for Moss & Ross Digital. When you hire us, you work with the two of us and nobody else.

Henry Moss

Henry Moss

Co-founder · Client Relations & Design

I was born and raised in Westlake Village, and I'm studying accounting at Moorpark College. At MRD Studios I handle the client side: the first call, the questions about how your business actually runs, and the check-ins while we build. I look forward to meeting you if you decide to work with us.

Gabriel Ross

Gabriel Ross

Co-founder · Design & Development

I was born in Arizona and raised in Thousand Oaks, and I'm studying computer science at Moorpark College. At MRD Studios I handle the design and the build: everything from the first layout to the code that ships. If you can picture what you want your site to do, I'll make it work.

A Word on Experience

The tools every studio now builds with are about two years old. Nobody has a decade with them; we have used them since they were new. What we have shipped is on this page, under our own names. Judge us on that.

Common Questions

The Things People Ask Us First

If your question isn't here, ask it on the call. It's free and there's nothing to prepare.

How much does a website cost?

Websites start at $850 for one to three pages, and most projects land in the middle tier at $1,650 for five to seven. Sites that need booking or custom features start at $2,900. Every price is published on our pricing page, so you do not have to book a call to hear a number. You get the full cost in writing before any work starts, and what we quote is what you pay.

How long does it take?

It depends on how many pages the site needs and how quickly you can get us your content, which is usually the part that takes longest. We agree a delivery date before we start and we hold ourselves to it: if we miss the agreed date, the next milestone is on us.

Do you only work with businesses near you?

No. We are based in the Conejo Valley and work across Ventura County and greater Southern California, so we can meet you in person if that helps. The build itself is remote, so we can do it for a business anywhere in the country just as easily. The process is identical either way.

I don't have a website at all. Where do we start?

Exactly where everyone else does: a free call about how your business works. You do not need a domain, a logo, or any idea of what you want the site to look like. Bringing nothing is normal, and it is easier than untangling something half-finished.

What do I need to give you?

Your logo if you have one, photos of your work, and your business details: services, prices, hours, and the areas you cover. We take it from there, writing the structure and placing the content so it reads well. If you do not have photos, we will tell you what to take.

Who will I be dealing with?

One of the two of us, from the first call to launch and after. There is no account manager in the middle and nothing gets handed to a contractor you have never spoken to. You will always be talking to the person doing the work.

What if I don't like the design?

Then we change it. If the first draft misses the direction you had in mind, the first revision is free. Beyond that, we agree the number of revision rounds before we start, so refinements never turn into a surprise on the invoice.

Do you handle the domain and hosting?

Yes. We set up the domain, the hosting, and the go-live so you never have to sit in a registrar's control panel. If you already own a domain, we will move it across without your current site going dark.

What do you build with?

Whatever fits the project. We work across JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React, Next.js, Astro, and plain HTML, and pick the stack for the job rather than forcing every site into one. Sites are hosted on Cloudflare, Vercel, or Netlify, so there is no WordPress to update and no plugins to patch. We use Claude, Anthropic's AI, as a drafting partner for code and copy, and one of us reviews everything before it ships. What you get is real code that belongs to you, not a page-builder subscription.

What happens after the site launches?

You will not be left maintaining it alone. We stay available for updates, changes, and fixes through a support arrangement we agree together before the project starts, so you know that cost up front too.

Will my site show up on Google?

We build in the things search engines check: correct page titles and descriptions, clean structure, and fast load times. We will also walk you through setting up your Google Business Profile, which is what puts a local business in the map results. Nobody can promise a specific ranking, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

Have you built for real businesses?

Yes. The sites in our Recent Work section are live, for businesses that exist, and every page is clickable, so you can judge the craft yourself instead of taking our word for it. We are still a young studio, which is part of why we build you a working demo before you pay anything.
