10-4 Handyman Services
A family handyman crew whose old site had four blank pages and a quote form with no fields. Rebuilt around one job: get a Madison homeowner to call or send a quote.
- Broken
- Four blank pages, a quote form with no fields, and full-bleed orange backgrounds that buried every call to action. It produced neither calls nor quotes.
- Built
- Six pages built around one job, the call or the quote, with the crew's own before-and-after photos and a form that takes pictures of the work.
- Now
- Live on the crew's own domain in place of the template. Every page keeps the phone number and a Get a Quote button in view.

The Business
10-4 Handyman Services is a family-owned, fully insured handyman crew in Madison, Wisconsin: painting, drywall, flooring, toilet and sink repair, TV mounting, yard clean-up, and the rest of the honey-do list. Two owners, one crew, and a customer base of homeowners who would rather make one call than five.
The Problem
Their previous site was a Webador template. Four of its six pages were blank or still carried the template's placeholder text, the quote form had no input fields, and the orange brand colour was used as full-bleed section backgrounds, which buried the actual calls to action. Their business runs on phone calls and quote requests, and the site produced neither. A Madison homeowner who found it had no reason to believe the crew was real.

What We Built
One job per screen.
Every page keeps the phone number and a Get a Quote button in view, and the hero puts a one-field quote starter above the fold. The visit and the estimate are free, and the site says so before anything else.
Real jobs, no stock photos.
The Our Work page shows six jobs from the owners' own phones: a toilet replacement, a vanity, a floor, a shed, a kitchen and a window, each before, during and after. Every caption says what was done.
A quote form that can be answered.
The form asks what needs doing, where, and when, and lets the homeowner attach photos. The crew sees the job before anyone drives out, and the site never asks for a photo it cannot receive: the old form had no fields at all.
Built for the customer they actually have.
Older Madison homeowners. So: 18px body text, 48px tap targets, labels always visible above fields, nothing that only works on hover, and orange kept for buttons so a call to action is the brightest thing on any screen.
Eight services, each with its own answer.
The services page is written per category, from painting and drywall to outdoor and yard work, so a homeowner looking for one specific job finds a paragraph about that job rather than a list of nouns.
Inside the Site

In the Client's Words
“Very professional and great to work with. They were helpful the whole way through, and the site is real work, not AI slop. I'm excited to have my page up and get my business going.”
